Description: The Development Specialists will be a member of LAA’s management team. S/he will coordinate the program’s existing fundraising campaigns raising money from attorneys; develop and implement plans to raise funds from outside the legal profession; cultivate funding prospects including individual gifts and corporate and foundation support; explore the need for and implement special events; and engage in outreach around planned giving. S/he will also help identify federal, state and local grants, write grant proposals, and help with the development of marketing materials. The Development Specialists will be based in LAA’s Jonesboro or Springdale office and will travel throughout the service area to meet with donor prospects, board members, and other stakeholders as needed.

Requirements: Minimum of an undergraduate degree and evidence of resource development experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Demonstrated success in building and implementing comprehensive development programs and grant writing, including cultivating and managing relationships with multiple donor sources. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong organizational skills. Familiarity with the mission and work of legal aid programs helpful.

Description: Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers to increase communications and referrals – Develop and implement physician marketing strategies to facilitate positive relationships betweenACH, its medical staff and referring providers. Serve as liaison to referring providers and their office staffs to increase their knowledge of ACH services and improve their overall satisfaction levels, thereby increasing referral opportunities. Provide “real time” reporting to key stakeholders as needed immediately following any visit with a referring community provider. Produce anddistribute monthly and quarterly site visit report detailing referring physician feedback and action items. Serve as primary ACH contact to new and referring providers and their office staff by conducting effective visits as well as follow-up – The purpose of these communications will be to: Educate referring providers on ACH services offered, system enhancements, continuing medical education opportunities, new providers, etc. Improve referring physician satisfaction and awareness and increase ACH referrals.
